PLATE 02

Where we are, and how to come

First you touch it,
then you decide

The Naviglia Yachts showroom is in Aprilia, in the province of Latina, between Rome and Latina: it is the yard where the NAVY RIBs are looked at up close, touched and tried out sitting at the helm. Showroom visits by appointment: we set the day together. The exact address, the route and the time are given to you when you book: four lines in the form at the bottom of this page, or a message on WhatsApp, are all it takes.

It is not a shop with a window: it is the place where we work. Here every NAVY is configured on the real samples, here it is fitted out, and from here it leaves for the harbour you name or for your home. On the bench you find 29 colours of ORCA fabric for the tubes, 24 shades of teak-effect decking, 14 colours of quilted upholstery and the fibreglass in white or black. Which models are in the yard on the day of your visit changes with deliveries: ask us when you book and we will tell you honestly.

  • No middlemen. Direct sales: from configuration to delivery the customer deals with Naviglia Yachts in Aprilia (Latina), with no local dealers in between.
  • No hand-overs. From the visit to the quote, right up to delivery day, you always speak to the same people.
  • Made to order, on the samples. Every NAVY is built to order: colours, decking, upholstery and engine are decided here, in daylight, not on a screen.
  • Then the sea. The sea trial is booked separately, on our NAVY 7.60 powered by a Honda 250: the place and the day are set together.

PLATE 03 — What you see · real photograph, the yard in Aprilia (LT)

Four things
a screen cannot tell you

The tube, under your fingers

ORCA FABRIC · HYPALON-NEOPRENE · 1.3 MM FROM THE 4.80 TO THE 7.60

Press it with your palm, follow the hand-glued seam with a fingernail, try the grab handles. The ORCA fabric by Pennel & Flipo, Hypalon-neoprene, has a feel no photograph can give back. The NAVY 9.50 Cabinato has tubes in ORCA fabric by Pennel & Flipo too.

Sit down: upholstery is judged this way

STANDARD AS STANDARD · LUXURY DIAMOND-QUILTED · 14 COLOURS

Both lines are in the yard: the Standard, in smooth marine leatherette, which comes as standard, and the diamond-quilted Luxury, which is an option up to the 7.60. You see them in full sun, with the logo embroidered on the backrest, and you know in a moment which one you want.

The decking, barefoot

EVA SYNTHETIC TEAK · 24 SHADES · SOLID NATURAL TEAK ON REQUEST

The standard floor is EVA synthetic teak, soft and matt, with plank and seam colours you choose from 24 shades; solid natural teak is an option. Touch both on the sample: the warmth under your foot is different, and you feel it straight away.

At the helm, hands on the wheel

CONSOLE WITH FULL GAUGES · ROLL BAR WITH NAVIGATION LIGHTS · BATHING PLATFORMS · STEEL LADDER

Up to the 7.60 the console with full gauges, the roll bar with navigation lights, the stern bathing platforms and the rear steel ladder all come as standard. Sit at the wheel and look towards the bow: the height of the windscreen and the position of the controls only make sense from there.

PLATE 04 — The samples · real photograph

Real colours
are chosen on samples

29 ORCA FABRICS · 24 TEAK SHADES · 14 UPHOLSTERIES · WHITE OR BLACK FIBREGLASS

A screen shows a colour; a sample tells you about it. In the showroom the ORCA fabric swatches are laid side by side on the real tube, in daylight: the three standard ones, Notte Profonda, Pietra Bianca and Blu Navy, and the others on request, up to 29. Next to them, the 24 shades of teak-effect decking, with plank and seam chosen together, and the 14 colours of the diamond-quilted Luxury upholstery.

You try the combination on the boat, not on a sheet of paper: the anthracite tube with the cognac upholstery, white with grey, blue with cream. Every swatch has a code, and that code goes into the written quote: what you chose in the yard is exactly what arrives.

PLATE 06 — From the yard to the sea · real photograph

What you look at standing still in the yard, you take out on the water yourself. The NAVY 7.60 you see here is our sea-trial boat, with its Honda 250: the trial is booked separately, with the same form, and the day is set together. Anyone with a bigger model in mind tries the 7.60 in the meantime, to feel how it meets the wave and how it turns.

How the visit works

From the message
to the sea

No procedure: you write, we call you back, you come. Below is what happens from the moment you book to the moment the quote is in your hands, so you arrive knowing what to expect.

Book

Four lines,
then we call you

In the form tell us whether you want to see it in person, try it at sea or both, which NAVY you are curious about, your name, a telephone number and your town. If you do not know the model yet, there is the option «I do not know yet: advise me». We call you back to set the day and the time, and in that call we tell you how to get here.

Step aboard

Climb in, sit down,
open everything

A RIB is climbed into, not looked at from the ground. Open the bow lockers, lift the hatches, pull down the ladder, sit at the wheel and on the stern sofa with the people you usually take along: real space is measured this way. We talk about the outboard right there at the stern: Honda, Yamaha or Mercury, you choose the make and we decide the power together, based on how you go to sea.

The samples

The right colour
in real light

With the swatches in hand you walk around the boat: the ORCA fabric laid on the tube, the decking shade next to the white or black fibreglass, the upholstery sample on the seat. The embroidered logo, the diamond stitching, the grain of the marine leatherette can only be seen this way. In the end every choice has its code, and the codes go into the quote.

The quote, then the sea

The price line by line,
then the water

Before you leave you have a written quote: the price + VAT of the boat, the engine you chose, the options with their codes and the cost of transport to the harbour you name or to your home. Lead times are clear: stock boats within 7 working days of order confirmation; made to order about three months, up to the 7.60; for the 9.50 Cabin we agree them together on confirmation. Then you book the sea trial.

Real shots, taken in the yard over two days at the end of May: an anthracite NAVY 7.60, a white 7.60 and a 6.00, with the upholstery in its various colours. Tap a photograph to open it full screen; under each card, «The story» tells you what you are looking at.

Anthracite, white lettering

The dinette in cream

FIG. 15 — Aft dinette of the NAVY 7.60 with cream upholstery and wooden table opened

The cream U-shaped sofa, diamond-quilted, wraps around the wooden table set up in the cockpit of the 7.60: this is where the stern becomes a dining room.

Questions about the visit

Before you
set off

These are the things you ask us on the phone before coming: where we are, whether you need an appointment, what you will find, how long it takes to have one. One at a time: opening one closes the other.

Where exactly is the showroom?

In Aprilia, in the province of Latina, between Rome and Latina. The exact address, the best route and the time are given to you when you book, together with the number of the person who will welcome you: that way you arrive without searching, and if something comes up you know who to call.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Showroom visits by appointment: we set the day together. With an appointment the person welcoming you has time for you alone, and the boats you are interested in are ready to be seen, with the cushions on board and the samples already on the bench.

Which boats will I find in the yard?

It depends on the moment: NAVY RIBs are built to order, and the ones in the yard change with deliveries. Tell us in the form which model you are interested in: we will tell you whether it is there, whether there is a similar size to start from, or when it will be back. The full price list is on the prices page: it runs from the NAVY 4.80, from €13,924 + VAT · engine not included, to the NAVY 9.50 Cabin, from €86,900 + VAT · engine not included.

Can I try the boat at sea on the same day?

The sea trial is booked separately and takes place on our NAVY 7.60 powered by a Honda 250. Anyone looking at a larger model tries the 7.60 in the meantime, to judge trim, handling and solidity. The day and the place are set together when you book.

I live far away: is it worth coming?

Yes, and if you prefer we can start with a video call, to show you the boat up close before the journey. When you then decide, the NAVY is delivered to the harbour you name or straight to your home, including outside the Lazio region: the cost of transport is written in the quote, so there are no surprises.

Can I take home the boat I see in the showroom?

If it is in stock, within 7 working days of order confirmation. If you want it in your own colours, made to order, it takes about three months from order confirmation for models up to the 7.60; for the NAVY 9.50 Cabin we agree the lead time together on confirmation. We do not promise dates we cannot keep.

Can you value my used boat during the visit?

Yes: we are happy to assess a trade-in. Bring the year of the boat, where it is kept and a few photographs of the tubes, the deck and the engine with its plate details, or send them to us on WhatsApp beforehand: that way we already have an idea of the figure when you visit.

Do you have a dealer in my area?

No: we handle sales directly from Aprilia. You do not need to look for anyone locally: everything, from configuration to delivery, goes through us, anywhere in Italy.
