In stock: 7 working days · made to order up to the 7.60: about 3 months · to your harbour or your home

A NAVY that is already built and fitted out is delivered within 7 working days of order confirmation. A made-to-order one, from the 4.80 to the 7.60, arrives in about three months, because we build it for you, one at a time. Then we take it wherever you tell us: to the harbour you name or straight to your home.

PLATE 02 — Lead times, in a few lines

Three lead times,
no invented dates

The delivery time of a NAVY depends first of all on one question: does the boat you want already exist, or do we build it for you? If it is ready, delivery takes place within 7 working days of order confirmation. If it is made to order, RIBs from the 4.80 to the 7.60 take about three months from order confirmation. For the NAVY 9.50 Cabin we set the lead time together, on the day you confirm the order, based on the configuration you have chosen.

We do not print dates on the website and we do not promise them over the phone. We build every boat to order, one at a time, with no assembly line: the slot in production changes with the season and with the orders already confirmed. What we can do, and what we do, is tell you where things really stand at the moment you order.

Advice on the right size, engine power and accessories, at the Aprilia showroom, by phone or by video call. We start from how you will use the boat: how many people you take aboard, where you keep it, whether you hold a boating licence. It is the only stage with no clock running: take all the time you need.

Colours, teak, upholstery, engine

TUBES · WHITE OR BLACK FIBREGLASS · OPTIONS

Tube colour, white or black fibreglass, teak, upholstery, options and engine: every NAVY is built to order, one at a time. This is also where the lead time is decided: a boat that is already built follows the in-stock route, while one put together in your colours goes into production.

Transport, written next to the price

PRICE + VAT · ENGINE · TRANSPORT

The quote states the price + VAT, the chosen engine and the transport cost. Payment by bank transfer: deposit on order confirmation, stage payments during production, balance on delivery. For the transport, all we need to know is where the boat has to arrive: the harbour or your home address.

This is where lead times begin

ORDER CONFIRMATION · DEPOSIT · DEPOSIT INVOICE

Lead times are counted from order confirmation, not from the first contact: 7 working days for a boat in stock, about three months for a made-to-order NAVY up to the 7.60. For the 9.50 Cabin, it is the day we set the lead time together. Confirmation comes with the deposit and its invoice.

One at a time, with no assembly line

STAGE PAYMENTS · BANK TRANSFER

Your NAVY is fitted out to your configuration: the tubes in the colour you chose, the cockpit sole, the upholstery, the stainless steel fittings, the engine. While the boat takes shape, payments follow the production stages, always by bank transfer.

TRANSPORT · BALANCE · DELIVERY REPORT

We deliver to the harbour you name or straight to your home, outside Lazio too. On delivery you pay the balance and sign the delivery report, the last document along the way, after the deposit invoice and the sales contract.

Made to order, from the 4.80 to the 7.60

About
three months

A NAVY put together in your colours takes about three months from order confirmation. That applies to the 4.80, the 5.50, the 6.00, the 6.60 and the 7.60: the tube colour, chosen from the three standard ones or those available on request, white or black fibreglass, EVA synthetic teak or natural teak, Standard or Luxury upholstery, the options and the engine. It is the time a boat needs when it is built one at a time, to your configuration.

Lead times
set together

For the largest size in the range we do not give one figure that holds for everyone: we set the lead time together on order confirmation, based on the configuration you have chosen. The NAVY 9.50 Cabin is 9.80 m long overall and 3.20 m wide, in design category B, with tanks for 500 litres of fuel and 150 litres of fresh water. It has an interior cabin with berths and a separate head, and twin outboards at the stern: we decide the power together with the quote.

Several boats, for a fleet

A delivery
schedule

Anyone opening a rental business or a boating school, or buying for their own company, often orders several boats at once. In that case we include the transport in the quote, and all we need to know is where the boats have to arrive; the delivery schedule is agreed on order confirmation. For bareboat hire without a licence, which under Italian law is allowed within 6 miles of the coast with engines up to 30 kW (40.8 hp) and within the engine-capacity limits set by law, the right models are the NAVY 5.50 or the NAVY 6.00 with the 40 hp outboard.

PLATE 06

Where your NAVY arrives

To the harbour,
or to your home

We deliver to the harbour you name or straight to your home, and we write the transport cost into the quote. There is no single rate for everyone, because every journey has its own road: we work out the figure on the size of your boat and on your address, and you find it in black and white next to the price of the boat and the engine.

We look after delivery ourselves even far from Aprilia: outside Lazio, on the islands, on the lakes. Delivery to Sardinia is handled by us too, and we take care of everything it needs. Sales are direct, right to the last metre: from configuration to delivery everything goes through us, with no hand-over between the people who advised you on the boat and the people who bring it to you.

The road sets
a limit

On the road, width matters more than distance. The Italian Highway Code (art. 61) allows vehicles a maximum width of 2.55 m, load included; beyond that, the transport becomes an abnormal load and needs the authorisation of the authority that owns the road or of the Region (art. 10). The NAVY 7.60 and the NAVY 9.50 Cabin exceed that width: this is why transport is never improvised, and why we organise it ourselves, from shipping to your harbour to delivery at your home.

  • NAVY 4.80: 1.82 m wide, under 2.55 m.
  • NAVY 5.50: 2.35 m wide, under 2.55 m.
  • NAVY 6.00: 2.50 m wide, under 2.55 m.
  • NAVY 6.60: its dimensions are being updated, and we give them to you on request together with the transport cost.
  • NAVY 7.60: 2.89 m wide, over the limit: it travels as an abnormal load.
  • NAVY 9.50 Cabin: 3.20 m wide, over the limit: it travels as an abnormal load.

Payments and documents, from confirmation to delivery

Three payments,
three documents

Payment follows the boat step by step, by bank transfer: a deposit on order confirmation, stage payments during production, the balance on delivery. Along the way you receive three documents, in this order: the deposit invoice, the sales contract and the delivery report.

  • On order confirmation: the deposit and the deposit invoice. Delivery lead times are counted from this day.
  • During production: stage payments, while the boat takes shape to your configuration.
  • On delivery: the balance and the delivery report, at the harbour you named or at your home.
  • The three documents: deposit invoice, sales contract and delivery report, in this order.

And if you want it
for the summer

We build to order, so for next season it pays to confirm your order early: that is how you secure your slot in production. With about three months for a made-to-order NAVY up to the 7.60, you count backwards from the day you want the boat in the water; for the 9.50 Cabin we do the sum together, on order confirmation. If, on the other hand, you need the boat quickly, ask us which NAVY RIBs are ready today.

A NAVY can be bought with or without an engine: Honda, Yamaha or Mercury, you choose the make and we quote it together with the boat. The boat can be financed, including through marine leasing; if you already own a RIB, we are glad to assess it as a trade-in. All of this goes into the same quote, so you have the final figure in front of you before you confirm.

The questions you really ask us

Delivery and lead times:
the questions

These are the questions that reach our office from people waiting for a NAVY: how long it takes, whether it will be ready for the summer, where we deliver it, what the transport costs, how to pay. With the answer we give in person. One at a time: open one and the other closes.

How long does it take from order to delivery?

For a NAVY in stock, delivery takes place within 7 working days of order confirmation. For a made-to-order RIB up to the 7.60, it takes about three months from order confirmation. For the NAVY 9.50 Cabin we agree the lead time together on order confirmation, based on the configuration you have chosen.

If I order now, will I have it for the summer?

We build every NAVY to order, so for next season we recommend confirming your order early: that is how you secure your slot in production. We do not promise dates we cannot keep: we tell you where things really stand at the moment you place the order. If you need a boat quickly, ask us which NAVY RIBs are in stock today.

What does «in stock» mean?

In stock means that the NAVY already exists and is ready: delivery takes place within 7 working days of order confirmation. Which NAVY RIBs are in stock changes from week to week, and that is why we do not list them on the website: write to us on WhatsApp or call us, and we will tell you which ones are ready today.

Do you also deliver far from Aprilia, for example to Sardinia, Sicily or the northern lakes?

Yes. We deliver to the harbour you name or straight to your home, and we write the transport cost into the quote. Delivery to Sardinia is handled by us too, and we take care of everything it needs. For the widest models, which travel on the road as abnormal loads, we organise the transport ourselves.

How much does it cost to transport a NAVY RIB?

Transporting a NAVY has no single rate for everyone: the cost depends on the size of the boat and on where it has to arrive, the harbour or your home. We work it out for your case and write it into the quote, next to the price of the boat + VAT and the engine you have chosen: that way you have the final figure in front of you before you confirm the order.

Can a RIB wider than 2.55 metres travel on Italian roads?

Yes, as an abnormal load. The Italian Highway Code sets 2.55 m as the maximum width of a vehicle with its load (art. 61); beyond that, the authorisation of the authority that owns the road or of the Region is required (art. 10). The NAVY 7.60 and the NAVY 9.50 Cabin exceed that width: that is why we organise their transport ourselves, to the harbour or to your home.

How do I pay for a NAVY?

A NAVY is paid for in three steps: a deposit on order confirmation, stage payments during production, the balance on delivery. The documents are the deposit invoice, the sales contract and the delivery report. Payment is by bank transfer. Delivery lead times are counted from order confirmation, the day the deposit is paid.

Do you have a dealer in my area?

No: we handle sales directly from Aprilia. You do not need to look for anyone locally: everything goes through us, from configuration to delivery, all over Italy. We also organise the delivery ourselves, to the harbour you name or straight to your home, with the transport cost written in the quote.
