Cookie
policy

No cookies · no advertising trackers · no consent banner

The Naviglia Yachts website writes no cookies to your device and loads nothing from outside services: fonts, photographs and films all come from here. That is why, when you open it, we do not ask you to accept anything. On this page you will find the only two technical notes the site uses, what they are for and how to clear them.

Privacy noticeTerms and conditions

PLATE 02

The answer, in one line

No cookies.
Really, none.

The navigliayachts.com website, run by Michelessi Corporation Srl for the Naviglia Yachts brand, uses no cookies: no technical cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising or profiling cookies. There are no tools measuring visits, no social media buttons, and no maps or films embedded from outside platforms. All the site keeps in your browser comes down to two technical session notes, which disappear on their own when you close the tab.

A cookie is a small text file that a website leaves in your browser, the program you use to go online, so that it can recognise you on your next visit or follow you from one site to another. Privacy rules require your consent before a site writes cookies that profile you or serve advertising, and in many cases before it writes those that measure visits too; they do not require it for the cookies strictly needed to make the page work. We have taken the shortest route: we write none at all.

PLATE 03 — Real photograph

Nothing on board
you cannot see

On a RIB everything has its place and its reason: the cleat, the windlass, the locker. The same goes for the website. What we write in your browser is very little, it is listed below by name and it never leaves your device.

PLATE 04

What happens when you open a page

Everything starts
from here

When you open a page of navigliayachts.com, your browser asks our site for the text, the typefaces, the scripts that move the scenes, and the photographs and films of the NAVY boats. It all arrives from the same address. No request goes out to analytics services, advertising networks, video platforms, font libraries or other people's maps.

Like every browser, yours may keep a copy of the photographs and fonts it has already downloaded, so that the next page opens faster. That is its ordinary memory, not a cookie: it holds only copies of the site's files, we do not write it, and you can empty it whenever you like from the browser settings.

The two notes

Two entries,
by name

The site uses your browser's session storage, a space that each open tab keeps to itself and that is emptied when you close it. It writes just two entries there, both technical: they contain no personal data, they are never sent to our site or to anyone else, and their only job is to spare you two repeated moves of the page design.

Entry 01 · nv-testata

The header
comes in once

What it is for. On the first page of your visit, the header at the top, with the logo and the menu, makes its entrance with a short movement. This entry remembers that the entrance has already happened, so on the following pages the header simply stays in its place.

What it contains. The name “nv-testata” and the value “1”. Nothing else: not who you are, not where you came from, not what you looked at.

Where it lives and how long it lasts. In the tab's session storage, until you close the tab. Only the page itself reads it, inside your browser.

Entry 02 · nv-invito-chiuso

A bar that
stays closed

What it is for. On the pages that include it, a slim bar appears at the bottom right with links to book a visit, book a sea trial and message us on WhatsApp, plus the phone number on a computer screen. On a computer you can close it with its small cross: this entry remembers that, and on the following pages the bar stays closed, reduced to a small round button that opens it again whenever you want.

What it contains. The name “nv-invito-chiuso” and the value “si” (Italian for “yes”, written without the accent) if you have closed the bar, “no” if you have reopened it. No personal data.

Where it lives and how long it lasts. Like the first: in the tab's session storage, until the tab is closed, without ever leaving your device.

PLATE 06

What you will not find

What does not
come on board

Many websites bring a small crowd of outside services along with them, and each one leaves its mark in your browser. Ours does not. Here, item by item, is what you will not find on navigliayachts.com, and which will therefore never ask you for consent.

  • Visitor analytics. No third-party counter records which pages you open, how long you look at them or which city you connect from.
  • Targeted advertising. No advertising network trackers, no audiences built from your visits, no adverts that follow you around other sites.
  • Social media buttons. No like or share buttons loaded into the pages by the platforms.
  • Embedded maps. No maps from outside services inside the pages.
  • Films from outside platforms. The films of the NAVY boats are files on the site, played by your browser without going through video platforms.
  • Fonts from outside libraries. The typefaces of the pages sit on our own site, along with everything else.
  • Third-party chat. To write to us there is WhatsApp, which opens only when you choose it by pressing its button.
  • Forms that remember. The contact forms write nothing to your browser's storage; the details you send us are handled as explained in the privacy notice.

How to change your choices

The choices
stay yours

As there are no cookies, there is no consent panel to reopen and no preference to withdraw. The two session entries are yours to control, in three ways, and none of the three takes a single page, photograph or form of the site away from you.

Close the tab

It empties
by itself

Session storage is cleared when you close the tab or the window. On your next visit the site starts again from scratch, with the header making its entrance once more.

Private browsing

A window
apart

In a private window the browser keeps the two entries separate and deletes them when you leave. If storage is blocked altogether, the site still works: the only difference is that the header comes in again on every page and the bar at the bottom reappears.

Your settings

You decide,
in advance

From your browser settings you can delete the data of the sites you have visited, this one included, or block all storage from the start. Navigliayachts.com stays whole even then.

Questions about cookies

Frequently asked questions

What is worth knowing about cookies and your browser's storage when you visit our website, each with a short, complete answer. One at a time: open one and the other closes.

Does the Naviglia Yachts website use cookies?

No. The Naviglia Yachts website writes no cookies to your browser: no technical, analytics or advertising cookies. It uses only two technical notes in session storage, “nv-testata” and “nv-invito-chiuso”, which remember two moves of the page design and are deleted on their own when you close the tab. Neither contains personal data or is sent anywhere else.

Why does the Naviglia Yachts website not ask you to accept cookies?

Because there is nothing to accept. A consent banner is needed when a site uses cookies or tools that measure, profile or advertise. The Naviglia Yachts website uses none of them and loads no resources from outside services, so when you open it, it lets you look at the NAVY RIBs without asking you to make any choices.

Does the Naviglia Yachts website record visits for advertising?

No. On the Naviglia Yachts website there are no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics and no social media buttons loaded by the platforms. No advertising network is told that you have looked at a NAVY, and no advert built on your visits will follow you around other websites.

What happens if my browser blocks all storage?

The Naviglia Yachts website still works, in full: pages, photographs, films, scenes and forms. Only two details of the page design change: the header makes its entrance again on every page, and the slim bar at the bottom of the screen comes back even if you had closed it. Nothing else changes at all.

Do the WhatsApp, phone and email buttons use cookies?

The buttons themselves do not: they are simple links. When you press one, though, you leave the Naviglia Yachts website and WhatsApp, your phone or your email program opens, each with its own privacy rules. As long as you stay on the pages of navigliayachts.com, none of those services writes anything to your browser.

Do the contact forms save data in the browser?

No. The forms on the Naviglia Yachts website write nothing to your browser's storage and use no cookies. At most they fill in the model or the type of request in advance, reading it from the page address. The details you write in a form are used to reply to you and are handled as explained in the privacy notice.

Who do I write to with a question about cookies?

The Naviglia Yachts website belongs to Michelessi Corporation Srl, VAT No. 03294220599. For any question about cookies or browser storage you can write to info@navigliayachts.com or to the certified email address (PEC) michelessicorporation@pec.it, with the word “Cookies” in the subject line, so that your question stands out at a glance from the others.

Few words,
all of them true
