Shade · upholstery · shower · anchor · galley · electronics · updated 25 September 2026

On a RIB, the options that really change your day are four: the shade of a bimini, comfortable upholstery, a fresh-water shower and an anchor you can let go without effort. On NAVY RIBs up to the 7.60, the console, the roll bar with lights, the stern ladder and the standard upholstery already come as standard, and on the 7.60 the swim platforms too; everything else is chosen from your own model's price list, with the price plus VAT alongside; for the 6.60 options are quoted on request, and for the 9.50 Cabin they are defined together with the quote.

PLATE 02

The short answer

What is already there,
and what you add

An option is an item added to the list price of a RIB, with its own price written alongside. On NAVY RIBs up to the NAVY 7.60, part of the fit-out already comes as standard, included in the list price: the console complete with gauges, the roll bar with navigation lights, the steel stern ladder and the standard upholstery; on the NAVY 7.60 also the swim platforms with the folding ladder. On the NAVY 4.80, the NAVY 5.50, the NAVY 6.00 and the NAVY 7.60 you also get the synthetic EVA teak deck, stain-resistant and non-slip, the automatic bilge pump and the repair kit.

The real options, then, are the ones that adapt the boat to the way you spend your time at sea: shade, comfort, fresh water, the anchor, the galley, sound. For the NAVY 4.80, the NAVY 5.50, the NAVY 6.00 and the NAVY 7.60 every item has a fixed price in the customer price list, in euros plus VAT, and you will find it in the tables of this guide. For the NAVY 6.60 options are quoted on request; for the NAVY 9.50 Cabin the price list has two items, and the rest is settled together with the quote.

  • NAVY 4.80. As standard: the 60-litre fuel tank, the steel roll bar with navigation lights and the steel folding ladder. The price list has 13 options, from the all-stainless steering wheel with knob, at €336 + VAT, to the genuine natural teak deck.
  • NAVY 5.50 and NAVY 6.00. Compared with the 4.80 they also have as standard the reinforced anchor locker, the rear seat with cushion and steel backrest, the foot pump and the 135-litre fuel tank. Among the options you find the shower and the bow roller for the anchor.
  • NAVY 7.60. As standard: the helm seat with grab rail and retractable table, the fibreglass roll bar and the 280-litre fuel tank. It is the size with the richest price list: 22 items, including T-top, hard top, galley and electric anchor.
  • NAVY 9.50 Cabin. The cabin with berths, the separate heads, the shower with 150 litres of fresh water and the hard top are part of the boat. The options list has two items: 4 more speakers, at €2237 + VAT, and a change of tube colour, at €1633; everything else is defined together with the quote.

SYNTHETIC EVA TEAK AS STANDARD · SOLID NATURAL TEAK 8-12 MM ON THE PRICE LIST

As standard there is synthetic EVA teak, non-slip and with no oiling. Genuine natural teak is among the most substantial options on the price list, and its price rises with the size of the boat.

Music: two speakers, or six

MP3 PLAYER WITH 2 SPEAKERS · €936 + VAT

The player with two speakers costs the same on the 4.80, 5.50, 6.00 and 7.60. On the 6.00, 7.60 and 9.50 you can add four more, for six in all.

The anchor: from roller to electric

BOW ROLLER · ANCHOR LOCKER WITH ROLLER · ELECTRIC SYSTEM ON THE 7.60

The price list, item by item

What the options
on a NAVY cost

The options on NAVY RIBs have a fixed price for four sizes: NAVY 4.80, NAVY 5.50, NAVY 6.00 and NAVY 7.60. The same option costs a different amount from one model to the next: the stainless bimini on the 4.80 and the 5.50 costs €1386 + VAT, the one on the 6.00 €1662, the one on the 7.60 €1848. All amounts are in euros plus VAT, engine not included.

The first table gathers what changes life on board: shade, seating, deck, water, galley and anchor. The second gathers steering, lights, sound and protection for the boat. Where you see a dash, the item is not on that model's price list: if you need it, ask us, and we will look at it for your boat.

PLATE 05 — Shade

The bimini,
the option for August

Stainless bimini · T-top · hard top · 4.80 · 5.50 · 6.00 · 7.60

The bimini is the sun awning that opens over the cockpit, carried on a stainless steel frame, and on NAVY RIBs it is on the price list for the NAVY 4.80, the NAVY 5.50, the NAVY 6.00 and the NAVY 7.60. It costs €1386 + VAT on the NAVY 4.80 and the NAVY 5.50, €1662 on the NAVY 6.00 and €1848 on the NAVY 7.60. It is the first item to weigh up if you go out in summer with children or spend whole days at anchor.

For a 6-metre RIB with a bimini, the size is the NAVY 6.00: 6.00 metres long and 2.50 wide. The stainless bimini is added to the standard steel roll bar; if you prefer the fibreglass roll bar, you will find it on the price list at €937 + VAT.

On the NAVY 7.60 shade comes three ways: the bimini, the stainless steel T-top with its canvas, at €3876 + VAT, and the hard top, a rigid fibreglass roof, at €5980. On the NAVY 9.50 Cabin the hard top measures 2.50 by 3.70 metres.

The upholstery

Standard or
diamond-quilted

NAVY upholstery comes in two lines. The Standard, included in the price, is in smooth marine leatherette, treated against UV rays, salt water and mould. The Luxury is a technical fabric quilted in a diamond effect, with heat-sealed seams, stain- and mould-resistant, in 14 colours. It costs €780 + VAT on the NAVY 4.80 and €980 on the NAVY 6.00 and the NAVY 7.60; for the NAVY 5.50 it is quoted on request. Extra cushions lengthen the sun pad: €1276 at the bow on the 4.80, €1476 on the 5.50 and the 7.60.

Shower, fridge and galley

Fresh water
and the fridge

The shower with a fresh-water tank is on the price list for the 5.50, the 6.00 and the 7.60: €738 + VAT with the 50-litre tank on the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00, €2214 with the 60-litre tank on the NAVY 7.60. On the NAVY 9.50 Cabin the shower is on board, with a 150-litre fresh-water tank.

The fridge comes aboard with the galley. On the 7.60 the galley complete with sink, gas hob and fridge costs €11245 + VAT. On the NAVY 9.50 Cabin the galley sits behind the helm, facing the cockpit.

The anchor

From the roller
to the windlass

The anchor is the accessory you use every time you stop in a bay. On the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00 the reinforced anchor locker comes as standard, and the bow roller for the anchor costs €552 + VAT. On the NAVY 7.60 there are two items: the anchor locker with roller, at €1848, and the electric system with anchor, reinforcement and chain, at €6828.

Steering and electronics

Steering goes
with the engine

Steering is chosen together with the engine, because the hydraulic system comes in a power rating: on the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00 the one for engines from 75 to 150 hp costs €4428 + VAT, on the NAVY 7.60 the one from 150 to 350 hp €4652. On the 4.80 the price list has mechanical steering with the engine cables; on the 5.50 it has both.

The only electronics with a list price is sound: the MP3 player with 2 speakers, €936 + VAT. GPS chartplotter and VHF are not on the options list: they are assessed together with the quote, on the model you choose. Like the engine, which is not included in the list price, the electronics are chosen separately.

PLATE 08

Colours and deck

The options
you can see

The tubes of NAVY RIBs are in ORCA fabric by Pennel & Flipo, Hypalon-neoprene, and from the 4.80 to the 7.60 they are 1.3 mm thick. Three colours come as standard: Notte Profonda, Pietra Bianca and Blu Navy. The others, up to 29 colours in the catalogue, are chosen with the “change of tube colour” item: €530 + VAT on the NAVY 4.80, the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00, €640 on the NAVY 7.60, €1633 on the NAVY 9.50 Cabin.

The standard deck is in synthetic EVA teak: non-slip even when wet, it needs no oiling or sanding, cleans with a rinse, and comes in 24 shades. The genuine natural teak deck is made of solid teak planks from 8 to 12 mm, selected, shaped and laid by hand following the lines of the boat. It is one of the most substantial items on the price list, and the price rises with the size: €3660 + VAT on the 4.80, €4676 on the 5.50, €5076 on the 6.00 and €6942 on the 7.60.

Naviglia vision: the NAVY 7.60 with turquoise tubes, pale aqua cushions and a grey roll bar
FIG. 09 — Naviglia vision: the NAVY 7.60 with turquoise tubes and pale aqua upholstery; combinations are decided on the samples.

Decided
at the order

Tube colour, fibreglass colour, deck shade and upholstery line are part of the boat we build to measure, one at a time, with no assembly line: it pays to decide them calmly before ordering, looking at the samples in person. For made-to-measure RIBs up to the 7.60 the lead time is about three months from order confirmation, and in those months the boat takes shape in the colours you have chosen.

PLATE 10

Option or obligation?

What Italian
law requires

Safety equipment is not an option: it is an obligation, and it depends on where you go. Under Italian law, pleasure craft must carry the life-saving appliances and equipment of Annex V “in relation to the navigation actually undertaken” (art. 54, para. 1, Ministerial Decree 146/2008), with the table replaced by Ministerial Decree 133 of 17 September 2024, in force since 21 October 2024. The life-saving appliances must be enough for everyone on board, crew included.

Some items in the table already find their place in the standard specification. A bilge pump or other bailing device is required in every sea column except “within 300 metres”, and the automatic bilge pump comes as standard on the 4.80, the 5.50, the 6.00 and the 7.60. Regulation navigation lights are required in every column from “within 3 miles” upwards, and the standard roll bar carries the navigation lights. For craft over 7 metres, such as the NAVY 7.60, the table also requires the black anchor ball.

  • The VHF. Beyond six miles from the coast, craft up to 24 metres must carry at least one VHF radio, even a handheld one (art. 29, para. 2, of the Italian Recreational Boating Code). For natanti, the smaller pleasure craft that Italian law does not require to be registered, the VHF operating licence is requested from the local ispettorato territoriale and needs no exam (art. 29, para. 6).
  • The GPS. In the Annex V table the radio-positioning instrument is compulsory only in the “within 50 miles” and “unlimited” columns, that is beyond 12 miles; the same goes for the depth sounder, electronic, or manual down to 20 metres.
  • The liferaft and the rest. Liferaft, hand flares, signal buoys and lifejackets change with the distance from the coast: category 100 lifejackets are enough within 6 miles, beyond that you need category 150. They are equipment, not options: put them into the sums before you choose where to go.
  • Recommended equipment. Ministerial Decree 133/2024 added Annex V-bis, with the recommended equipment: anchor, tow line, mooring lines, fenders, boathook, bucket, waterproof torch, an additional VHF. These are recommendations, not obligations.

PLATE 11

How to choose them

Three questions
before the quote

The right options are not the most expensive ones, they are the ones you will use. Before choosing them, it is worth answering three questions about the way you go to sea: the answers put the price list in order by themselves.

  • How many hours do you spend stopped? If you spend whole days at anchor, the bimini, the shower and the bow roller come first; if you go out for an hour's swim, the standard specification may well be enough.
  • Where does the boat sleep? If the RIB lives on a trailer at home, the trailer from the price list and the boat cover are what count; if it stays in the water all season, what counts is protecting the upholstery and the console.
  • Who comes aboard? With children, shade comes before everything; with friends, the extra sun pad cushions and the bow table; for towed water toys, the ski pole, at €340 + VAT on the 4.80, 5.50, 6.00 and 7.60.

To see how the bill for the options reads, take the NAVY 6.00 and four items from its price list: bimini, shower, bow roller and Luxury upholstery. It is a worked example, not an offer: the options are added to the price of the boat (from €17,987 + VAT · engine not included) and the 22% VAT is calculated at the end.

The questions you really ask us

Options,
in eight answers

These are the questions about accessories that reach us by phone and on WhatsApp. One at a time: open one and the other closes.

Which options do you really need on a RIB?

On a NAVY RIB the options that change your day the most are the bimini for shade, the Luxury upholstery, the shower with a fresh-water tank and the bow roller for the anchor. Console with gauges, roll bar with navigation lights, steel stern ladder and standard upholstery already come as standard up to the 7.60; on the 7.60 the swim platforms too. The rest depends on how many hours you spend at anchor and on who comes aboard.

What comes as standard and what is an option?

On NAVY RIBs up to the 7.60 the standard specification includes the console complete with gauges, the roll bar with navigation lights, the steel stern ladder and the standard upholstery; on the 7.60 also the swim platforms. The Luxury upholstery is an option, and we quote options item by item on the model you have chosen. The engine is not included in the list price and is chosen separately, like the electronics.

How much does the bimini on a NAVY RIB cost?

The stainless steel bimini on a NAVY RIB costs €1386 + VAT on the NAVY 4.80 and the NAVY 5.50, €1662 on the NAVY 6.00, the 6-metre RIB, and €1848 on the NAVY 7.60. On the 7.60 you can also choose the stainless steel T-top with canvas or the fibreglass hard top.

Can you have a shower on board a RIB?

Yes. On NAVY RIBs the shower with a fresh-water tank is on the price list for the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00, with a 50-litre tank at €738 + VAT, and for the NAVY 7.60, with a 60-litre tank at €2214 + VAT. On the NAVY 9.50 Cabin the shower is on board, with a 150-litre fresh-water tank.

Is the electric windlass standard on NAVY RIBs?

From the NAVY 4.80 to the NAVY 7.60 the electric windlass is not part of the standard equipment. On the NAVY 7.60 the price list has the electric system with anchor, reinforcement and chain, at €6828 + VAT. On the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00 there is the bow roller for the anchor, at €552 + VAT, with the reinforced anchor locker as standard.

Can you have a fridge on a NAVY RIB?

Yes. On the NAVY 7.60 the fridge comes with the galley complete with sink and gas hob, on the price list at €11245 + VAT. On the NAVY 9.50 Cabin the galley sits behind the helm, with worktop, sink and fridge. On the NAVY 4.80, the NAVY 5.50 and the NAVY 6.00 the galley is not on the options list.

Is a VHF radio compulsory on a RIB?

Under Italian law a VHF is compulsory when you go more than six miles from the coast: craft up to 24 metres must carry at least one VHF radio, even a handheld one (art. 29, para. 2, of the Italian Recreational Boating Code). For a natante, the operating licence is requested from the local ispettorato territoriale and needs no exam. On NAVY RIBs the VHF is not on the options list: it is assessed together with the quote.

Can you choose the colours of the tubes, deck and cushions?

Yes: we build boats to measure, so we are happy to take on modifications. You choose the hull colour (white or black), the tube colour, synthetic EVA teak or natural teak on request, and Standard or Luxury upholstery. With the 3D configurator you can put your boat together and send us the configuration. We also study special requests with our workshop, such as room for diving cylinders or a relocated console.
